No ano passado, foram atendidos 30.004 passageiros. O \u00edndice reflete tanto a movimenta\u00e7\u00e3o da avia\u00e7\u00e3o comercial quanto da avia\u00e7\u00e3o geral, que inclui voos executivos, t\u00e1xi a\u00e9reo, aeronaves particulares e desportivas. A Azul Linhas A\u00e9reas foi a principal respons\u00e1vel pela movimenta\u00e7\u00e3o de passageiros em voos comerciais. Os trechos Arax\u00e1-Guarulhos (103 opera\u00e7\u00f5es) e Arax\u00e1-Confins (286 opera\u00e7\u00f5es) registraram um total de 8.682 e 10.206 passageiros, respectivamente, entre embarques e desembarques. J\u00e1 a avia\u00e7\u00e3o geral, composta por voos executivos e aeronaves particulares (2.445 opera\u00e7\u00f5es), movimentou 9.928 passageiros, enquanto o t\u00e1xi a\u00e9reo (140 opera\u00e7\u00f5es) registrou 798 passageiros. Tamb\u00e9m foram contabilizados 376 passageiros em voos militares (87 opera\u00e7\u00f5es) e 14 em voos de instru\u00e7\u00e3o (85 opera\u00e7\u00f5es de treinamento de pilotos, um pouso e uma decolagem). O crescimento foi impulsionado pela realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de grandes eventos. O Festival Liter\u00e1rio de Arax\u00e1 (Fliarax\u00e1), a ExpoQueijo, o Encontro de Carros Antigos, a Copa do Mundo e a Copa Internacional de Mountain Bike, as atividades do Instituto Flamel e da FIEMG, e os encontros promovidos pelo G4 Club contribu\u00edram diretamente para o aumento do fluxo de passageiros. Para o administrador do aeroporto, Fabiano Cota, o crescimento est\u00e1 diretamente relacionado aos investimentos realizados.
